State Senator Todd Lamb (R, Edmond) announced the launch of his campaign for Lieutenant Governor. The announcement came at the June 'Family Ice Cream Social' in Edmond put on by the Heartland Oklahoma Federation of Republican Women (OFRW) and the Edmond OFRW.Former U.S. Senator Don Nickles was named Lamb's campaign chairman in a statement that preempted Lamb's official announcement by two weeks.
Lamb joins State Reps. John Wright and Colby Schwartz as the Republican candidates for Lieutenant Governor; State Sen. Kenneth Corn is the only announced Democrat in the race.
