Brogdon Endorses Fallin
I apologize in advance, because I don't have the time at the moment to give this post the length it deserves, but Republican State Senator and unsuccessful gubernatorial candidate Randy Brogdon today endorsed Congresswoman Mary Fallin in the race for Governor. I am very glad to see Randy do this - more on that later.

I was quite sad that Randy Brogdon didn't win the nomination, but I'm glad that he will continue focusing on those issues dear to the conservative cause.
ReplyDeleteMary Fallin may not have been my first choice, but she is a good candidate and will have my vote in November. I really don't want another liberal in the governor's seat during the upcoming years.
I, Mary Fallin, promise to bag six times the number of state troopers as governor that I did as Lt. Governor. I further pledge to take more of your tax dollars and use them to pay off favors to my biggest contributors. Finally, I pledge to ensure that Oklahoma will have no more Republican governors for the next half a century, at least.
ReplyDeleteWhere's the outrage for the down ticket races? Correct me if I am mistaken but Jason Reese didn't even have the courtesy to make a call to Mark Costello on election night - much less ENDORSE him!
ReplyDeleteIs Reese the sore loser you and all of the other bloggers called Randy Brogdon?
Where is your total outrage on this one Jamison?
I am also sad that Randy did not win statewide. It is spilled milk. What we need to concentrate on now is down ticket and not let sour grapes defeat us.
ReplyDeleteI, also, will vote for the Republican Candidate. We cannot risk under votes, or stay at homes to put Jari Askins in the Governor's chair, when we are all but assured of gains in the legislature.
It is the legislature that will decide how our tax dollars are used.
