STITT FOR GOVERNOR CAMPAIGN LAUNCHES FIRST TV AD IN GENERAL
TULSA, Oklahoma (October 1, 2018) – The Kevin Stitt for Governor campaign announced today its first TV ad in the general election titled “Sunrise,” which is airing statewide on cable and broadcast stations. The ad offers a window into Kevin Stitt’s time on the campaign trail, displaying his high energy and sharing his vision to deliver government accountability and a Top Ten education system.
“The career politicians have made a mess. Enough is enough,” says Kevin Stitt. “I’m Kevin Stitt. I’m not a politician. I’m a husband, a father, a businessman. I want a better Oklahoma for our kids and grandkids. My priorities – get our financial house in order and improve our schools.”
The ad echoes a theme of Stitt’s campaign since day one. At his first press conference in October 2017, Stitt called for teachers to be paid competitive wages and highlighted how a quality education system is a cornerstone for recruiting new job creators to the state of Oklahoma. To deliver needed change, Stitt called for an overhaul of state government and highlighted how career politicians have failed to make decisions to bring Oklahoma’s state government into the 21st century.
In the latest TV ad, Stitt continues, “I will post all state spending online to root out government waste and I will put our tax dollars where it matters - in our classrooms and in good teacher pay. Oklahoma’s turnaround starts right here, right now.”
In May 2017, Stitt announced a government reform plan to deliver accountability and transparency in state government, which can be read at www.OKTurnaround.com. In the coming days, Kevin Stitt will be announcing more details to his education plan to put Oklahoma on the path to Top Ten outcomes.
