AFP-Oklahoma congratulates successful endorsed State Senate runoff candidates

AFP-Oklahoma Congratulates Endorsed State Senate Candidates Winning Primary Runoffs
Oklahoma's premier grassroots organization propelled both candidates to victory

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (Tuesday, August 27th) - Tonight, Americans for Prosperity-Oklahoma (AFP-OK) celebrated its two endorsed non-incumbent candidates who won their primary runoff races for the Oklahoma Senate: Dr. Julie McIntosh (SD-03) and Kelly Hines (SD-47).

In the month leading up to the race, AFP-OK knocked on nearly 14,000 doors across its endorsed candidates' districts to make sure Oklahomans got the absolute best representation in the state legislature next year, and over 30,000 throughout the primary season to date.

AFP-OK State Director, John Tidwell, gave the following statement:

"Tonight is a great night for Oklahomans, who stuck through two separate elections to elect these principled conservatives.

"AFP-OK made the right bet in backing these challengers, who have the energy and determination to deliver on tax reform, deregulation, and empowering parents once in office.

"We're enormously grateful for our grassroots activists' tireless efforts in support of these candidates and look forward to helping Hines and McIntosh win again in November."

Through broad-based grassroots outreach, Americans for Prosperity (AFP) is driving long-term solutions to the country’s biggest problems. AFP activists engage friends and neighbors on key issues and encourage them to take an active role in building a culture of mutual benefit, where people succeed by helping one another. AFP recruits and unites Oklahomans behind a common goal of advancing policies that will help people improve their lives. For more information, visit www.AmericansForProsperity.org.
