Oklahoma Freedom Caucus releases 2025 policy agenda

Good stuff from the best group in the Legislature:

Oklahoma Freedom Caucus releases policy agenda

OKLAHOMA CITY (Feb. 17th) – Today, the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus led by Chairman Shane Jett, House Vice Chair Jim Olsen, and Senate Vice Chair Dusty Deevers released the following policy agenda for 2025.

For the 60th Legislature the focus of the Oklahoma Freedom Caucus is to advance the Freedoms of Oklahomans in four key areas:

FREEDOM IN FINANCES so that citizens can keep more of their hard earned money in their own pockets through cutting spending, maintaining our State savings account, lowering taxes including an immediate cut to the income tax, no taxes on tips, and phasing out income and property taxes, and providing sound money alternatives to inflation through gold, silver, and options like bitcoin.

FREEDOM FOR FAMILIES by advancing better education through competition and accountability in government schools, more transparency with health choice and informed consent and prioritizing making Oklahoma healthy, the protection of personal property rights including limiting eminent domain, the further expansion of individual rights like bearing arms, and where it all begins: protecting the right to life.

FREEDOM FOCUSED ON FAITH to restore the foundation upon which our country was built through reintegrating a focus on God in government, chaplains in our schools, protecting churches as essential so they are never again shuttered by government, and reminding all that In God We Trust and highlighting the principles of the Ten Commandments.

FREEDOM LOOKING TO THE FUTURE to make Oklahoma the freest State in the Union by limiting and repealing regulations, uprooting and eliminating wokeness and DEI in government, finding government efficiencies with limited government and less spending, forcing more transparency and accountability across government including whistleblower protections, securing the integrity of our elections, reforming the judiciary to stop their constant attacks on the views most Oklahomans hold dear, and putting our citizens first with the strongest state level immigration enforcement in the entire nation.
