Perverted assignment given to students at Waurika High School

UPDATE: Hello, Walters? Controversial Waurika school assignment
was from State-approved curriculum

Heads up, content warning. This sexually perverted assignment was given to students Monday in a psychology class at Waurika High School with no apparent prior notice to parents.

It was part of the class curriculum, and school officials are claiming they had no idea it was in there (why they don't know what's in what they teach is a good question). I'd also ask what else is in this curriculum.

Waurika, Oklahoma. Population 1,837. High school with approximately 125 students.

Certifiably insane, morally destructive, culturally suicidal stuff like this is being taught to children in rural and small town public schools in even red-state Bible-belt Oklahoma.

If you value virtue, biblical morality, a decent societal future, and common sense, speak up.

I might also recommend homeschooling your kids. If you have questions about how to homeschool, send me an email (JamisonFaught@MuskogeePolitico.com) and I can either communicate with you directly or connect you with helpful resources.

  1. This is for psychology. If someone comes in with these thoughts or habits, are they normal? Way to take it out of context for the sake of your agenda though

    1. Does your hard drive need checked? If you think this material is appropriate for minors, you’re part of the problem!

  2. Are you just ignoring that this is more likely to plant these ideas in our children than it is to benefit them through some sort of psychological assessment?? If the only want to assess the psychological state of our children is through this what kind of society have we become?? This is horrendous. The idea of sacrificing the innocence of those that don’t have these issues to find the ones that do seems pretty freaking twisted.

  4. I had to complete a similar survey when I was in high school psych in 1983. These kinds of surveys aren't new. Psychology is the study of human behavior. People do weird things all the time that aren't harmful to themselves or others. Surveys like this are designed to start conversations so students can begin to learn how to identify harmful behaviors amongst all the simply weird or socially unacceptable behaviors.

    1. What high school offered psych class? Like as a standard class the HS offered? I went to 3 high schools growing up, none offered it unless it was offered through a college program which is common. The issue with this is its from a human sexuality course (name may slightly change between universities) and that course is a 3000 series course in TX and 2000 series class in OK. Meaning that this content isnt even available to freshmen in college. If colleges wont let freshman take this class then its definately not appropriate for minors in HS.

  5. Waurika is a direct B-Line to Ardmore which everyone should already be aware is where a lot of younger sex trafficking happens. This to me reads as a form to see which kids have the right mentality to get kidnapped later and tossed on I-35 to never be seen again. In HS or college psychology classes this was never discussed.
